The Skyscanner 2012 Travel Trends Report is compiled by the popular European travel search site, www.skyscanner.net.
The report looks into travel trends across the continent, focuses on a number of key travel issues affecting countries in the news and offers an insight into how people are using social media and mobile technology to research and book their holidays.
This year's report highlights how Spain still remains the top choise for British travellers, whilst Estonia is emerging with a whopping 94% increase in searches.
Egypt, according to this report, is losing quickly on its tourism market share whilst Malta continue to experience an increase in interest.
The report also includes a section on mobile access and social media and how they currently effect the industry in general.
